2. Written Quote: All service fees are provided via written quotation after assessment
3. Deposit Requirement: A deposit (typically 50% of service fees) is required to initiate processing
4. Balance Payment: Remaining balance is due upon service completion or before document submission to authorities
5. Additional Costs: Government fees, embassy charges, translation costs, and third-party expenses are separate

All government and third-party fees are non-refundable once paid, as these are external costs incurred on your behalf. We provide detailed breakdowns of all fees before processing begins.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be fair while accounting for work completed and costs incurred:

• Government Decisions: We are not liable for decisions made by government authorities, including visa refusals, permit denials, or application rejections
• Regulatory Changes: We are not responsible for changes in Lao immigration laws, business regulations, or government policies that affect your application
• Processing Delays: We are not liable for delays caused by government processing, public holidays, unforeseen circumstances, or factors outside our control
• Client Information: We are not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent information provided by clients
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for service interruptions due to events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, political unrest, etc.)

While we exercise professional diligence in all services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or timelines due to the discretionary nature of government processes.

7. Visa Refusal & Termination

Visa Refusal

All visa and permit approvals are at the sole discretion of Lao authorities. In case of refusal:

• Service fees paid to LaoVisaGateway are non-refundable
• Government fees are non-refundable (as paid to authorities)
• We may provide guidance on reapplication options if applicable
• Refusal reasons are provided by authorities, not LaoVisaGateway

Termination by LaoVisaGateway

We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if:

• Falsified documents or fraudulent information is provided
• Client fails to meet obligations or provide required information
• Client engages in unlawful activities or violates Lao laws
• Client behaves unprofessionally toward our staff

In such cases, all fees paid will be forfeited, and no refunds will be provided.

Termination by Client

If you choose to terminate services:

• Fees for work already completed will be deducted
• If government submission has occurred, remaining balances may be payable
• Government/third-party fees already paid are non-refundable
• Written notice of termination is required

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

• Jurisdiction: Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Laos
• Dispute Resolution: We encourage amicable resolution of any disputes through direct communication before pursuing legal action
• Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect
• Language: The English version of these terms shall prevail in case of any discrepancies with translations
